Arabic is among the most widely spoken languages in the world, being one of the six official languages of the United Nations. It is the mother tongue of about 320 million people, to which we can add about 90 million speakers that learned Arabic as a foreign language.

Die Arabische Sprache rechnet zu den Weltsprachen, und sie ist eine der sechs Amtssprachen der Vereinten Nationen. Etwa 320 Millionen Menschen sprechen das Arabische als Muttersprache, hinzu kommen ungefähr 90 Millionen Sprecher, die diese Sprache als Fremdsprache erlernt haben.
